The cleans

What is on the list, and what is not.

Every clean is priced for one building. The quote names the rooms, the tasks, and the fee. Until you accept that in writing, nobody is on the way.

A regular clean

This is the work that keeps a place from sliding. Surfaces, floors, the bathroom, the kitchen on the outside of the oven, bins, and beds if you ask for them. It is booked on a rhythm: weekly, fortnightly, or a gap you name. The first visit is often longer. A home that has never been on a list is not the same job as the fourth visit, and the quote should say so.

A deep clean

Skirting, the tops of doors, the inside of cupboards you empty for us, the cooker if it is on the list, and the corners a weekly wipe never reaches. It is a reset. It is not a promise that paint, grout, or a worn floor will look new. We clean what is there. We do not renovate it.

End of tenancy

Tell us whose standard we are cleaning to. An agent’s checklist is more useful than the word sparkling. Ovens, the insides of appliances, and the tops of cupboards are included only when the quote says so. If the carpets need a machine, say so at the start. We will say whether that is part of this clean or a separate job we cannot take.

After builders

Dust, a film on the glass, and the marks a fit-out leaves on floors that can take a mop. We do not remove asbestos, sharps, wet plaster, or rubbish that belongs in a skip. If the site is still a building site, the quote will say what we will not touch.

Offices and small workplaces

Desks, kitchens, washrooms, and floors, usually before the day starts or after it ends. We need a way in that does not depend on a phone call. Keys, codes, and the alarm belong in the written booking. We do not publish a phone line, so the instruction has to live on the page we both have.

What we bring

We bring ordinary cleaning products and cloths, unless you ask us to use yours. Tell us about pets, a floor that cannot take water, and anyone who is sensitive to a smell. A product you hate is a fact for the quote, not a surprise on the day.
